Ten thousand dollars huh? Well that wasn't much to him, so he could easily part with it. Of course they probably had to rush, seeing as he didn't want the girl to have to hurry and pay it off with her body. As he pulled money out she seemed to get super excited. Well either he was about to get hardcore scammed or someone wanted to see their sister. "Alright, well double that is 20,000. Here's 30,000 dollars to be extra safe. Yet suddenly she jumped. "COME WITH ME!" Snopy was almost startled by this. Suddenly she had so much energy. "Glad to see you're...excited." He was caught of guard, but he was smiling a little bit. "Well I guess that's one way to prove your point." It was true her back had been absolutely abused. He scratched his head. "Sorry about implying you might have faked the whole thing by the way, forgot about the...bruises and everything." Remembering that, and her willingness to bring him along, did relieve much of the distrust he felt. Snopy nodded though since he would go with her. "Alright, so when do you want to go get your sister back? I mean it's either right now, or tomorrow. I don't care either way, but if we do it now I do need to get a coat on you."

Thirty thou-... Thir-... Thirty thousand dollars?! He really was loaded. Holy mother of goodness! "Of course I'm excited! Erika needs to be with me, not some monsters like them." Ayumi explained. She kept smiling and smiling. She was so happy. She wanted to cry tears of joy, but refused. Not right now! She'll do that when she officially has her sister. "Oh. It's fine. I lied about my name and almost stole from you. I can't blame you for thinking that. I deserved it, but I won't do it again. I promise you that." she said and stood up from the couch. She stretched and felt so relieved. "I do want to go now, but wouldn't they be asleep? I'd rather not anger them by showing up in the middle of the night like this..." She said, but thought about something, "I guess if they're running shady businesses though, they'll likely be up at this time... I just want Erika back. It's up to you. What do yo believe is safest for us and her? I'll listen to you. You're probably better at this kind of stuff than I am anyways."

Re: One Week [Closed]
Snopy was surprised this girl wasn't bouncing off of walls. He thought she might explode from all the excitement. Maybe she'd go through his roof and explode in a glorious fireworks performance, before she gently floats down (though do you know what happens when you don't float back down?) Snopy raised his arms over his head and stretched. "Let's consider the business they run for a second. It's one that functions primarily at night, so odds are plenty of them are awake. Honestly, whomever is in charge is probably partaking in more than his fair share of the..." Snopy made air quotes. "Festivities." Snopy left the room momentarily and came back with two coats, one which was meant for her. "We go now, we get her back sooner. She, and you, are left to suffer for less time. As for safe." Snopy grabbed a little extra cash like the magician wizard he was. "If they get upset by the interruption, we can add a little on top to sweeten the expedited deal." Snopy had it all planned out, even bits that probably wouldn't need to happen. This was the Yakuza, cruel branch or not they don't go aggressive on people who come with the money they're owed. Worst case scenario he would have to bust some heads. But he'd leave em alive, just send them a message. Meanwhile Ayumi got her sister back. "Come on, let's go settle a debt."
He'd lead her out of the house and to a rather nice looking car. He opened the passenger side door for her. "Hop in." With her excitement, she'd probably do exactly that. Or maybe jump or skip in. Once she was in he'd head over to the driver's side and put the keys into the ignition. "I'll probably end up parking a distance away, when you have nice things you learn where to put them if you don't want them stolen or trashed." From there he'd drive to the district described, and find a place that was heavily trafficked even at this time of night, as well as guarded because one higher end club was here. "Never been there, but their security is convenient." He'd park and get out of the car, opening Ayumi's door for her she didn't get out herself. Really he never saw the point in people not opening their own door, but she had been through a lot so he'd just be polite. "Lead the way."

Re: One Week [Closed]
Tonight. Ayumi was going to get her sister back tonight! This only made her more excited. Her friend, the money wizard, brought her a coat and she happily took it. She was bouncing around so much now! She couldn't have been happier! There were butterflies in her stomach over this. Excited and nervous. She just hoped Erika was okay. She followed Snopy out to the car and hopped in. "Whoa..." she said, impressed by the car as she sat down. She described where to go and saw that yes, this place was quite lively at night. Once they parked, she lead him to the apartment building by hand. She stepped inside and walked up to one of the doors. "Mister Ashida, it's me, Ayumi Hirosaki!" she called out excitedly, "I'm here for my sister please. I have your money, all of it!" The room went quiet.
"She can't be serious..." "There's no way she came up with that money so quick."
"Mister Ashida?" she leaned against the door and knocked again, trying to hear things better. The door opened and Ayumi smiled, "Hello Shiro. I have the money." The man eyed her suspiciously and then eyed Snopy. "Oh, this is my friend, Snopy. Kinda nervous coming down here at night, so he offered to come with me. He's the one that is helping me with the money actually!" she explained. Shiro looked back and forth between the two of them and then opened the door to let them inside. Ayumi looked back to Snopy and lead him in, still holding his hand, and went and sat on the couch she knew she was allowed to sit at. The room was dark and the smell of smoke and booze was strong. Mister Renji Ashida, the 'big boss' was sitting in a large chair. "Alright, Ayumi... Where's the money, if you got it?"
"Give it to 'em." she said and then watched as the men would count it.

Re: One Week [Closed]
Snopy followed Ayumi in, but as this wasn't exactly his deal he remained silent for awhile. She really seemed to take a liking to his hand though, she kept a gentle hold on it the entire time. This wasn't exactly a nice place so it was probably just safer, or felt safer to her anyway. The room she lead him too seemed dead quiet, at least when she said she had the money. They probably didn't believe it. Snopy did have a bad feeling about this, but he just hoped it was perfectly normal paranoia. When the door opened, Snopy's nose was assaulted by smells that really should never be mixed...or so strong. Ayumi went over to the couch, leading him by hand, but he didn't sit. He stood by Ayumi, in case they tried anything. That's when the man asked for the money. Snopy nodded as he pulled out a rather large wad of cash from his coat, it wasn't even all of it. It was exactly the 10 grand that was owed. Snopy understood how to negotiate, he wouldn't show that he brought more money because it'd deal them a good hand. "Here it is, 10,000 dollars. Cash." Snopy handed off the money, and the men began to count it. No matter what they would end up saying, it was indeed 10,000 dollars.
"If I may, Mr. Ashida, I do have to ask about your business practices." Snopy began. "To punish this poor girl because her father is a fool, it seems a little extreme don't you think? I mean the Yakuza value honor, and sure, debts are to be repaid, but this girl has broken her back to repay debts that she didn't even personally incur. And yet, in spite of this, you still treat her as though she borrowed all that money, and no matter how hard she works for her sister, which I'm sure you'll agree is an honorable goal, you only seem to punish her. Not only that, but you drive a person to desperation, and yet you seem surprised when out of that desperation breeds a determination to rescue that sister of hers." Snopy continued. "I look at you and see a powerful man, one that demands respect. Strong, good looking...you must have so much, the ladies must be all over you, so tell me...why torture this girl?" He was trying to play into the boss's ego to see if he can't coax an answer out of him. Something to make sense out of all this.

Re: One Week [Closed]
Ashida waved that cash over to one of his henchmen and they began to count it while Snopy began his questioning. Snopy did a good job at pointing out Yakuza values and even catering to Ashida's obvious ego. Ayumi, seemingly ignorant to what most of this really meant, sat in silence and let the men talk. She wasn't going to interrupt when they were having a conversation. Ashida, a cigar between his fingers, flicked the ash from the tip and chuckled at Snopy's words. The man nodded along with a lot of it and smirked. "Yeah. I get what you're talking about, but family is family. The girl's volunteered for it, you see..." Ashida leaned forward on the couch and motioned toward Ayumi, who lowered her head in shame, "Her sister didn't want to see her fall like that. The younger one, Erika... trusted Ayumi and her Father to get the money together, ya know? So she took her place. It's been three weeks since then and that bastard keeps bringing up his own damn debt... You know, we asked him the same thing? It was like he was tryin' to give the girl to us. Hehe, but the man's got a problem. He partakes in our... business as well. Your father's been a customer for a long, long time."
Ayumi was shocked and completely disgusted in what Ashida was telling her. She looked away in shame, hiding her face from both Ashida and Snopy. Ashida sat back into the couch and looked over to his men. "It all there?" he asked. "Yeah, every bit of it." the man replied and everyone turned to Ayumi and Snopy, looking suspiciously at them. "Tell me, Ayumi. You've been workin' three jobs and could barely keep up that shit-hole," Ayumi flinched, "...your father calls a store. How the hell did you come up with this amount of money? You know borrowin' from any other branch ain't gonna get you nowhere. We don't approve of that kinda dealin', you understand, girl?" Ayumi just nodded nervously. Her mood had changed and the excitement was gone. "I know the rules, Mister Ashida. I've done no such thing. My friend here, Sno-..." "You give her the money?" Ashida interrupted and stood up, "What are ya... some rich motha-fucka from up town?" Ashida and his men laughed, but Ashida nodded along. "Alright. I see. But you see... We got a problem here." Ashida looked over to Ayumi, "Your sister... Well, she's one of our best girls now. The men like 'em young, ya know what I'm saying."
Ayumi's smile dropped. Her heart began to race and she immediately broke out into a sweat. "Um... Y-Y-Y-Your best... girls?" she struggled to say it. Ashida sniffled and pulled up his pants. "Uh, yeah. Got four times that amount just so some fat-fuck from uptown could pop that little one open... So we want double to replace lost revenue." The men all laughed again, though one guy in the corner seemed annoyed and frustrated at what was happening here. Mister Ashida, though laughing as well, was feeling off. He did have a hint of guilt showing on his face, but had to play most of it off to save face. "Look, Ayumi... You can have your sister back once you've paid up what losin' her will cost us, but it's been a month since your Father handed her over. Little thing ain't the same." Ashida explained. "You gave me a week." "Huh?" "YOU AND YOUR MEN STRIPPED ME DOWN, BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF ME, SHOVED MY SISTERS UNDERWEAR IN MY MOUTH, AND LEFT ME IN A GOD DAMN ALLEY COMPLETELY NAKED! EARLIER TODAY, THEY SAID I HAD A FUCKING WEEK!" "Uh... They lied?" Ashida shrugged, actually unsure of what to say to her now. "Go get her sister, gents." "Which one is she?" "Erika... Youngest one. On the third floor." The men hesitated for a moment, but nodded and walked out the room. Ayumi was doing her best not to cry. She was too late to save her sister...

Re: One Week [Closed]
"I see." Snopy said, before going to scratch his left ear. He muttered something quietly, only Ayumi was near enough to even HOPE to hear it and all she probably heard was ASAP. He knew how this was going to play out. Ashida was playing his cards just as expected. What Ashida didn't know, was that Snopy had just hit record. Every word from "Is it all there?". If this man didn't change up his plans, the field would be all set for Snopy to play his Ace in the Hole. "Yet the only ones being punished are the two who are unfortunate collateral damage. Shouldn't you come up with a plan that forces him to suffer til he gets you your money, not her? She has honored the deal time, time, and again. You're making her suffer for a debt that is not hers to suffer." Whether or not Ashida responded to that didn't even really matter, cause he continued to give Snopy plenty of ammo. He had broken the deal. As the men went to leave he muttered something else. "So...you broke the deal and you admit it then." He waited until after they left to finally say. "That's all I needed to hear. Alright boys and girls, you know the drill!" He shouted as he threw off his coat. "I want you to more than rough em up!"
Suddenly there was a shout of pain from one of the guys outside the door, and the door slammed open. A group of men and women stormed into the room. "Well Ashida, I'm sorry to say the deal is off. You've broken the terms set forth, therefore both Erika and the money are forfeit. And, due to the severity of the issue, I do have to wonder how the other branches would feel about your way of business. It gives them a bad name." He brushed his hair back to reveal in his ear a little device, barely noticeable otherwise. "Recorded the whole thing." Snopy put his hair back into place. Snopy looked back to the the female of the group who had intruded upon this meeting."Kiymo, deal with anyone who tries to come in will you? I already sent Akihisa to follow the men who went to go get Ayumi's sister, expect them to be...forcibly escorted to this room. This goes without saying, but make sure no harm comes to Erika. These girls...have been through far too much already." Snopy turned to Ayumi. "I'm so sorry...sadly I expected as much, but I had hoped that by coming sooner maybe she wouldn't have been...you know.
I had hoped to resolve this peacefully, but." Snopy turned and began to approach Ashida. "It seems you've forced me to pull my ace in the hole. Now then." Snopy took a fighting stance, not the most well formed but he was so strong there is no way he could lose this fight. "This!" Snopy ran forward, so fast Ashida didn't even have time to stop the fist from sending him into the back wall. "Is for Ayumi. This!" Snopy went to grab Ashida, who dodged and tried to counter, but inevitably had his arm grabbed, and was thrown through his own desk. "Is for Erika. This!" Ashida no longer had the ability to react quickly, and was grabbed, and smashed into the wall. "Is for everyone else you've probably hurt along the way. And THIS!" Snopy didn't hit him again, he was already defeated. Snopy instead took the money that he had just been given. "Belongs to you." He stated as he handed the money to Ayumi. He shoved it into her hands. "Now...lets go see your sister. Don't worry, everything will be alright."

Re: One Week [Closed]
Ayumi was automatically confused, but when people began storming the room, she became frightened. She sat there, stuck in shock and unsure what to do. None of them were coming after her, so she was okay right? She watched everything go down and listened to the things Snopy said and was even more confused. Who was this man?! How did he orchestrate this!? Who were all these people? How was this even happening!? She watched in awe and was rather impressed with the way Snopy completely destroyed Ashida. A part of her was cheering him on, telling him to kick that bastards ass, but Ayumi had no real idea how to react or what to say. When the money was shoved into her hands, she just looked at it confused. "I-... uh..." she looked up to Snopy and heard him mention her sister.
"Right." she said with a smile as she was snapped back into reality. She'll ask him about all of this later. "Third floor, third floor, third floor." Ayumi had shoved as much of the money as she could into her pockets and began running up the stairs. She pushed back other people that were obviously working for Snopy, moved passed rooms that were being investigated. She saw other girls being freed and was happy that her sister was next. She finally got to the third floor and began searching through the rooms. "Erika?!" she called out. There didn't seem to be much up here. Most of the rooms were empty, except one, where two of Snopy's people were standing at. "Erika! Is my sister in the-..." she had started running forward again, but she was stopped by one of them before she got to the room.
"Miss, I need to ask you to stand back. Don't come any closer." the man said. Ayumi just looked back to Snopy. She wanted to see if her sister was in that room. The man looked up to Snopy and merely nodded. Ayumi saw this and became more worried. She suddenly pushed passed the man and ran toward the room to look in before anyone else could stop her. When she got there, everything fell to slow motion. She could hear her own heart beat. Her eyes widened and her face immediately went pale. Ayumi suddenly ran forward, screaming "Erika" at the top of her lungs. Her sister was laying there, cold and lifeless. "Erika wake up! Wake up! Erika! No! Erika!" Ayumi began shaking her, crying her eyes out and screaming more and more as she shook her sister's lifeless body.

Re: One Week [Closed]
Ayumi seemed rightly confused about the people storming the room. After all, Snopy didn't tell her he was a raid boss. Still, he did what he could to calm her down. She didn't even fight when he gave her the money. That was...not actually helpful, she might fight him on it later. Oh well, more important issues to attend to, an emotionally scarred girl. He followed closely behind Ayumi, until they finally got to the third floor. Other girls were being liberated. So it was true, not even a single one was doing it willingly. Well it's a good thing he was given excuse to initiate the raid now rather than later. As Ayumi ran up to the room, she was stopped. Snopy was down the hall, but he saw it happen. Why would she be...oh no. The man nodded to him. That wasn't a good sign, not considering these circumstances. "Akihisa, you find out how it happened?" He nodded. As Snopy walked through the door, Akihisa explained. "Overdose...self inflicted. The bottle was from a week ago, only one or two are supposed to be taken in a day. We found it empty, that's at least 46 pills. Downed the whole thing." Snopy shook his head. "Well as an organization...we've had a victory today in liberating the girls here. Personally though." Snopy shook his head. "I feel the bitter sting of failure." "You always say you learn more from a failure than you do from a success." "Some lessons are better left untaught."
Snopy walked over and put his arm on Ayumi's shoulder. "I'm sorry, coming tonight, immediately, this kind of thing is what I was hoping to avoid." Kiyomi came up to the door to find out exactly what had happened, but she was greeted with this grim sight. "Oh my god... well we've rescued the others...um I'll just go and make sure they're taken care of...I'll leave you alone." She walked out. "I'm sorry I thought you were lying. And I'm sorry you have to go through this. It's tough...to lose your sister."

Re: One Week [Closed]
Ayumi couldn't function. She didn't even feel his hand on her shoulder. She just kept crying. She pulled her sister into her arms and began rocking back and forth, crying so hard that she went from screaming to holding her breath. Her eyes and face were red. Tears just kept streaming down her cheeks. Her body was shaking. "No." she said with a stressed tone, like she was having trouble keeping up with herself. "No, no, no." she continued on sobbing, "Sh-She trusted me. She trusted me to bring her home... She took my place. It should have been me. It should have been me. Why?!"
Ayumi kept crying, unaware of the person looming over her. It was a spirit, her sister's spirit. Erika was crying as well, but not because she was dead. She hated seeing her sister this way. "It's not your fault." Erika sat on the bed, placing a hand on Ayumi's back, knowing her sister couldn't feel it, "I'm sorry Ayumi... I'm sorry. It's not your fault. Please don't cry. I'm okay now..." Ayumi was able to stop the louder crying for a moment. She stared off at the wall, mouth wide open, and holding her breath. She was thinking about something and was finally able to calm down and breathe normally.
"I wanna go home..." she said, her voice cracking. Erika walked through the bed and to the other side to look at Ayumi's face. "No." Erika shook her head. Ayumi's eyes were dull, almost as lifeless as her sister's body. "I need to go home." Ayumi said. "NO! I'm not stupid Ayumi. You're gonna ruin your life that way." Erika said, but Ayumi couldn't hear her. Ayumi stood up and covered her sister up. "I'm going home." Ayumi walked out of the room. "AYUMI NO! YOU CAN'T DO THAT TO YOURSELF! I'M FINE! AYUMI! DON'T DO IT! NOT FOR ME!" Erika tried to reach her sister, but she just couldn't.

Re: One Week [Closed]
Ayumi was completely losing it, she was screaming one minute, then couldn't even breath from all the screaming the next. She was rocking back and forth. "H-hey, Ayumi! Calm down, take a deep breath. You're going to hurt yourself." Then Ayumi just screamed some more, this time screaming that it was her fault. "Hey, it isn't your fault. You practically..." He almost chose some very poor wording but he realized what he said. "...worked until you collapsed. Anyone takes one good look at you and they'd see how hard you must have been working." That's when Snopy blinked twice, he heard a voice. He hadn't been thinking about it...but right, there would be a soul around after a death wouldn't there? Yeah. Ayumi wasn't looking at him, so he was able to look at the girl, obviously Erika based on her words and reactions, and if she looked up he'd mouth to her the words "Are you here sister?" while pointing to Ayumi. That's when Ayumi stopped crying, at least as hard. Wait, that timing...could Ayumi hear Erika? Wait no, the look on her face. Something had to have occurred to her. "I wanna go home..." Snopy blinked. Really? To that perverted fuck? "I'm sorry Ayumi...but that doesn't make any sense. Isn't it his fault that?"
Home was home for some people, he thought anyway. He hadn't gotten a good look at her face, so he couldn't see exactly what that meant. Erika was obviously not pleased. Snopy looked at Erika as he spoke. "Ayuuumi...I don't know what you're thinking but now is not the time for rash decisions." Ayumi stood up and covered Erika's body up. And then said she was going home. Then she left, she just left. He let Ayumi leave the room, but hit a button on his codec. "Akihisa, Kiyomi, this is Snopy. I need you to keep track of Ayumi. Don't let her know she's being followed, just...keep track with her so I know how to catch up to her." Snopy immediately turned to Erika. "Erika, what exactly is Ayumi planning on doing?" It was explained to him that she was going to go kill her father. Apparently, they begged him, but he continued to be absolutely horrid. Snopy shook his head. "Son of a, so that's what you meant by ruin her life." Snopy looked up to Erika. "Tell me something...is there any reason, that you might know of, to his behavior? I know people can be horrible, but I need to stop Ayumi before she throws away her future...and if I'm going to do it I need to understand exactly what I'm dealing with." That's where he was told something horrifying. When their mother died, he tried to have his way with Ayumi, but she refused him. "That's...horrible. One last question, then I really do have to go if I'm going to catch up to her...why didn't you run away, or find some way out? Did you think you could endure his torture until you got out? Or was something holding you there that you just couldn't let go of? Or did the thought just not cross your mind?" Finally he knew Ayumi had thought about running away, and about now she was really regretting it.
"I'm going to go help your sister. I'll be back once I've stopped her, so you know you don't have to worry about her having committed murder." He didn't know if it'd be tonight, or tomorrow, but he would have to perform the Konso on her, and he'd rather set her at ease before doing so. Snopy ran out of the room, as he ran down the stairs he clicked the codec back on. "Where is she?" After a few seconds, he got a response. She was on the street by now, there was still plenty of time since she didn't have a car. Snopy kicked it into high gear once getting her location properly relayed and chased her. It had started to rain. Great, she was going to get Pneumonia for REAL now. He ran as fast as he could. He was in a human body, and he had the misfortune of being stuck waiting for traffic twice, so by the time he caught her, she was soaked and most likely almost there. "Ayumi stop!" He shouted as he ran past her, and blocked her way. "Stop, killing your father will NOT make things better!"

Re: One Week [Closed]
Erika was too concentrated on her sister and unaware of the fact that she could be heard by the others around her. She just wanted Ayumi to hear her. That's it. When Ayumi left, Erika finally noticed because the blond man said her name. She didn't have time to ask about being seen by a living person. "She's going to kill him. I know she's going to kill our Father." Erika explained. Snopy's next question was something she had to think a moment about. "He's evil. Mom died, so he tried turning to her, to make her have sex with him, but she refused. They fought a lot because of that and he just kept drinking more. She thought he was going to try with me, but he didn't think I was as pretty as her." Erika held her hands in front of her chest. Yeah, her boobs were quite a bit smaller than Ayumi's were. And then that question came. Erika's face blanked. "I turned eighteen yesterday. We couldn't leave without bringing the matter public, especially with the Yakuza involved. Ayumi didn't want me to have to deal with that kind of attention, so she said she'll protect me until we could move out. She tried, but... Some things you just can't fight." Erika told Snopy everything else he asked and watched him leave. There was one last thing he heard before he was out of the building, "Please save my sister!"
Ayumi had left the building and walked straight toward her home. She didn't live too far from here and was ready to destroy her life to get revenge for her little sister. She couldn't handle the pain anymore. He needed to die. Her pace was quicker than normal walking. She wanted to get their fast. With every step she took, her expression became more distorted. Instead of sadness and pain, anger and insanity took hold. She began imagining how it would feel to end that man's life, how Erika would feel knowing that their disgusting Father would never hurt another woman again. "Two is more than enough..." she mumbled. In fact, she kept repeating this sentence over and over and over again as she walked through the city. People avoided her, stepping aside when they saw the look on her face. Ayumi made it to her street and picked up an old iron pole. She dragged it along the sidewalk, that echoing scrape easily heard throughout the neighborhood. "Two's is more than enough..." she continued saying. She was soaked, but didn't even notice it had started to rain. She heard someone say her name and turned around in time to see Snopy block her path, but not quickly enough for her mind to realize it wasn't Erika. So yes, Snopy was greeted with an excited, "ERIKA?!", and then disappointment.
Ayumi's face changed from disappointment to anger when what he said registered. She attempted to step around him, but he blocked her path. She went the other way, but he stopped her again. The house was right there, but she wasn't allowed to reach it. With wide and anger filled eyes, she looked up to him, dropped the pole and pushed at his chest. She wasn't strong, so the force behind her push pretty much put her on her own ass. She fell back and was caught, but she immediately pulled away from him and backed up. "What do you know about it?!" she shouted, waited a moment, and yelled again, "Nothing!" Ayumi looked around again, then back to the house. She just fell to her knees and shoved her face into her hands. She buckled over completely and just cried again. The lights in her house turned on and an older man in striped boxers and a tank-top stepped out, a bottle in his hand. "What the hell's going on out here?!" the man yelled and walked over to see what was happening, "Ayumi, what are you doing out here? Get that little ass of yours inside. You tryin' to get sick? You get sick, your sister ain't ever coming back home." Ayumi snapped. She grabbed the pole again and stepped rather swiftly around Snopy and went to swing the pole right at this drunk's head, "DIE!"

Re: One Week [Closed]
Ayumi HAD lost it. Her face was distorted, she had a murder weapon primed and ready. Not only that, but she seemed to get angrier when she heard what he had to say. She tried to pass but he just wouldn't let her, before finally she went to push him. Thank goodness he was quick to react cause he caught her pretty quickly, though she was quick to pull free. She claimed he knew nothing about it, though thanks to Erika that was a huge lie. Even if she hadn't though... "Nothing? I know more than you think." Snopy had a sister, he knew that in a similar situation, Sumika wouldn't want him to do what Ayumi was about to do. She began to cry, this was his chance to try and talk sense into her. "What the hell's g..." Aaaaaaand scratch that. This just got way more complicated. This was her father. Well he had some choice words for him, and he'd just go and say them if it wasn't for. "ENOUGH!" The sound of metal hitting flesh. Blood dripping down. When Ayumi realized what happened, she'd find the blood not to be her father's. It'd be Snopy's, as blood dripped down his neck. She had struck him in the neck.
"That's enough." Snopy would say calmly. The gigai was strong so only the skin ended up punctured. "Why did you love your sister, Ayumi? Was it because she loved seeing her big sister, out in the freezing rain, trying to bludgeon someone to death with a pipe?" Snopy would wait for just a short moment, then continue. "I've seen enough about you to know that you probably wouldn't love her so dearly if she did. Is this what your sister would want? Murder and hatred? To have her big sister completely lose it, be out in the freezing cold, with nothing but despair?" Snopy shook his head. "Heh...I know nothing you say. News flash, you're not the only one with a sister you'll never see again. It hurts. It hurts when you know that you've lost not just your sister, but one of your best friends. I loved my sister because she was a good sister and person. You obviously love your sister immensely, so there is no doubt in my mind that your sister was a wonderful person...and I wholly believe, even after you tried to steal from me...that you're a good person too. Because you only stole to save your sister. Please...think. Is this right? Will taking his life...will it truly make anyone happier? Would your sister want you to become a criminal? To have to run from the police? Or be arrested and sent to jail for murder? Revenge only leaves emptiness, and more despair."
Of course Snopy had turn to her father. "And yoooouuuuu...don't even get me started on you." His voice changed from concern to annoyance. "What on earth is wrong with you. These were your DAUGHTERS, and you treated them like shit. How could you give away your daughter's body like that? Fuck, why'd you think it'd be a good idea to try and solicit sex from this one after your wife died? That's not what a father should do." Snopy just shook his head and sighed. "It's ironic really. It's because your daughter is nothing like you...that you get to keep your life on this day."

Re: One Week [Closed]
When metal hit flesh, there was a moment where Ayumi smiled. Her blurred vision allowed this, but soon things came into perspective. It wasn't her Father that she hit. It was Snopy. Her eyes widened, her pupils dilated when the fear struck her heart. She didn't move. She was stuck in that position while he spoke, the pipe right next to his head while he talked some sense into her. This isn't what her sister would want and she knew it. Her sister loved her and she loved Erika more than anyone in the world. Snopy understood it, at least some of it. They had both lost sisters? She began to shake as he continued on. The pipe quickly became too heavy for her to hold up. Her arm shook violently as she brought it away from Snopy's head and then dropped it. The high pitched noise of metal clanking off of concrete echoed through the neighborhood. It was in that moment that Ayumi almost seemed to snap back into reality. It hurt, but she couldn't cry. She felt like she ran out of tears to cry.
Ayumi wasn't looking at him when he turned, so when his voice became annoyed, her attention snapped back up to him. He was talking to her Father, that disgusting piece of filth standing on the other side of Snopy. Ayumi was still shaking. Half of it was from the cold, but the other half was the amount of sadness she felt and the adrenaline she had rushing through her was finally calming down. She almost felt sick to her stomach. She wasn't able to stand. That final line Snopy spoke of squeezed at Ayumi's heart. It's not fair. Erika should be here, not him. This pig should be the one dead. Erika was sweet, loving, and kind. Why did she have to be the one to suffer. It just wasn't fair! Ayumi tried to stand up again, but slipped and fell back to the concrete. She was soaked and felt completely drained of life, so she decided it was time to just lay there as the rain came down on her. "I don't wanna be here anymore..." There was a part of her that wasn't just talking about this location...

Re: One Week [Closed]
Ayumi seemed frozen in time, she didn't move as he talked sense into her. She had a twisted smile, then horror, then just sad nothing. After some time she lost the strength to hold the pipe, but nonetheless, he was getting through to her. And after he laid into her father, he didn't even stop to see what the man responded with. He didn't care, he tuned it out whatever it was. Right now Ayumi was distraught, lost, and probably about to freeze to death on the ground. One of those seemed oddly more urgent than the others. "I don't wanna be here anymore..." After what he had seen this night...Snopy knew what she meant. If only she knew. "But...your sister wants you to be here." Snopy turned and looked back at the probably pissed off drunk. "Here like this world, this life. Not here here." Snopy leaned over and picked the poor girl up, carrying her like he had when he brought her to his house. "Come on, lets get you out of this rain." He began to carry her back, walking quickly to hasten the trip and get her out of the rain. That's when he saw a hotel, owned by someone he knew. Perfect. He went in, and asked for the owner.
"Snopy! It's-a so good to see you! I...something the matter?" Yes he had an accent. Accents sound a little different for the Japanese language, but he was actually Italian. He had whatever an Italian accent would be for Japanese. "She's...been through a lot, can we borrow a room so she can warm up? We shouldn't be here too long, I just want to keep her out of the rain until I can have someone bring my car around." "Of course, of course." The man lead Snopy to one of the vacant rooms and let him in. "Stay as long as you want." It wasn't a 5 star hotel, but it was pretty nice. Easily a 4 star place. Snopy walked over to the bed and laid Ayumi down. Snopy then went and sat in a chair nearby. "I...wish I could do more to make things better. But...just." He didn't know what to say that he already hadn't beaten to death. "Don't give up on the world because of this. There are so many good things and people in this world...even if you haven't seen any yet. You just..." He sighed as he realized something. "You must be starving, we should get you something to eat while you warm up."

Re: One Week [Closed]
Ayumi closed her eyes. "What would he even know about it?" she asked herself. Snopy didn't even get to know Erika, yet he acted like he knew everything her sister was thinking. How frustrating. It was even more frustrating that his "guesses" were correct. Ayumi was limp in his arms at first, but she stiffened and looked over his shoulder toward her Father, who literally waved them off and took another drink. She was silent the entire trip. She barely noticed when they were out of the rain. He laid her down on the bed and it was quickly soaked. She didn't care how uncomfortable it was though.
"Because of this." she repeated in a slight whisper, "You act like 'this' is such a small, insignificant thing." Ayumi slowly sat up and stared at him. "If you haven't noticed, I'm not you. You say you lost your sister, fine, you understand part of what I'm going through. I spent years dealing with that bastards neglect, thinking that one day it will all be over and Erika wouldn't have to deal with it anymore. I worked extremely hard to bring in more and more money just to get my sister back, before the third job it was just two so I could cover my Father's disgusting drinking habits."
"I did everything for her, to keep her safe, to bring her back..." Ayumi shook her head and scoffed, "Emptiness and despair... That's what revenge leaves, from what you said. Well, I would rather feel completely empty that what I feel now. I would rather be dead than remember this life. I have nothing left. I have no reason to continue on and don't you dare tell me I do..." Ayumi shot him a death glare, "It's bullshit. I've lost everything. I don't even have a home and, unlike you, I don't have the money or power to fill the void that my sister has left. I can't go have fun or work to try and get through it."
"So no, I'm not hungry. I don't want to eat. I want my life to have not been wasted. I want to have run away when I had the chance. I want to turn back time and bring my sister and mother back from the dead, so UNLESS THAT CAN HAPPEN, I have nothing." Ayumi lowered her head and fought off tears.

Re: One Week [Closed]
Snopy folded his arms and just thought for a bit. She was just basically dead inside. He sat and thought. It wasn't that he wasn't listening to her, it was that it was the same old thing. People who have lost something can never look to the possibilities of the future, they always just dwell on the past. All Snopy really had to do was stall until she could think straight. The trick was staying there might not help, but leaving her for a few minutes could be risky. He doesn't...trust her to not try something rash. "I will apologize for the "this" wording. It implied something I didn't mean. But." Snopy stood up and started to leave. "I've done my piece here. Said all I can say. I can solve two of those problems. Any money you need to live, I can provide. A place to live too. As for your emotions." Snopy stretched a little. "You'll need to sort those out yourself." Snopy headed into the bathroom. Partially cause he had to wash up, but he knew if there was anything Ayumi could easily use in the next minute or so to try and end her life, it'd be in here. There were no pills in the rooms, and the windows didn't open. They were on the first floor anyway. After maybe 30 seconds he came back out. "If you need me, I'll be here." Snopy sat back down and just stayed silent for the time being. Giving her time to process would be what she needs, even if she didn't realize it.
