It had not been too long since the Ishino was eradicated. Maaya was no longer referred to as "Lady Ishino," but "Lady Maaya." It was only proper. Right now, Maaya had no surname. Her family was gone and she had yet to marry J. Only a few of her siblings lived through the horrible night. One of them, she had killed herself. It still bothered her that she had done it. Her outburst that caused it, however, was bothering other people. She saw no reason for it to worry them. She may even disagree with the man she loved, depending on what he thought on it. Maaya hoped that he wouldn't care too much about it.

Maaya held up a picnic basket as she opened the door to J's office. She was dressed in her normal blue kimono. "Um... My Lord? Everything's ready for our lunch together." She led J out of his office and to the spot they had their first private lunch at. It wasn't a special spot, but it was gifted with a good view and a nice breeze. She laid out food, all of which were things J liked. "I... I know you said you didn't want me to do things like it, but I actually made all of this for you. Some of the chefs helped me, but I did most of the work myself. It's... um... a good trait for a wife and mother to have." After seeing J take a few bites, Maaya looked at him with expectant eyes. "So... how is it?" And no matter how happy Maaya tried to look, it was obvious something was bothering her.

Busy with work, his squad, and his family, J decided to find time for Maaya today. Though they slept in the same bed every night, it was not the same as spending true time together. Maaya had asked for this day, which came as a pleasant surprise. He was sitting quietly in his office, signing a few papers that decreased the budget for training equipment within his squad. His men were slacking and he was planning on working them to the ground this year. When Maaya entered, he held up a single finger and signed the last of the paperwork. With a sigh, he set the pen down and nodded to her before getting up and taking off his Captain's haori. "So what did you have in mind?" he asked, walking with her.

They arrived at her location of choice and J remembered their first lunch here. He took in a breath, enjoying the fresh air and the nice view. When he thought of the view, he wasn't looking at the flowers or pond, but the woman next to him as she spread the food. He didn't even realize what she was taking out until she spoke up about it. He looked around and felt a twitch at the side of his lips. He picked out one, then two, and three. Everything was very well done. "It is a wonderful skill for a mother and wife, and it's very well done. I'm impressed. I'd not mind getting a meal you cook every now and then, though I still prefer you not always being in the kitchen. It's more comfortable with you at my side."

Maaya would have been lying if she said she didn't find her partner to be adorable at times. Of course, Maaya lied about that. No one could know about how just cute J was. She would keep this side of him to herself. Which is why this conversation was eating her alive. "I... I am glad that you enjoy it. Thank you for the praise." Maaya thought about how to bring it up. How to let J know this. Midori's words rang out in her ears. She had to tell him. No one else could tell him.

"I also enjoy being by your side, My Lord. Which is why..." Maaya inhaled deeply. "Which is why I am afraid. I... I don't know how to put this kindly or to even make myself look better with it while still preserving the truth. So... I will give it to you straight, as the saying goes. When the Ishino attacked, as you know, there was also a confrontation at the back end of the house. Where I lost one of my brothers and one of my sisters. I... I killed my sister, and that you know too..." Maaya's mouth quivered. "What you don't know... is that I lost control when I did it."

"Miyako killed Eisuke when she tried to kill me. Eisuke came to try to warn us about the attack... And I just... I just lost control. I released my Zanpakutō... and I stabbed her. I kept stabbing her until Captain Hayashi stopped me. I just wanted her dead for doing that. Before you came along, Eisuke was the only man that had truly shown me kindness. He was the only brother that actually liked me... and Miyako took him away. He saved my life, but... I just wanted you to know that. It has never happened before... and I don't know if it will happen again... If something happens to you, Master Kazuo, or Master Ryuusei like that... I... I must admit I probably would do the same thing. It is shameful, but... I don't think I take well to losing the people closest to me. I just felt like you should know..." Maaya looked away from J, shame in her eyes.

J was enjoying a bite of one of his favorite meals when she began. It soon turned sour in his mouth and he forced himself to swallow it. When she finished explaining, he stared off at a wall while deep in thought. His expression was the same, though he had hardened some. A few things began to make more sense and so he looked down at the food, then to Maaya, and then away again. "What you've done is shameful, Maaya." J said and stood up from his seat, "I will send a maid to help you clean this up and then will be returning to my paperwork. Do not disturb me; I will speak with you about this later tonight, after I've cleared my head." J walked away and did as he said, sending a maid to help her or just clean it up for her. He returned to his office and sat down in silence and deep thought.

Maaya hung her head down. The sparkle in her eye died, and she did not dare look at J. "...Yes, M—" Maaya caught herself. She drew a line with her lips. "Lord Saionji." Maaya did not think of herself as being worthy of being J's vassal. She would probably be banished. It wouldn't be the first time she would be sent away from her home. But it would probably be the last. Maaya had nowhere else to go. Maaya did not leave the spot until the maid arrived, and she helped the maid clean up. Neither of them spoke.

Maaya returned to the Saionji manor only for a short while. She grabbed her Zanpakutō and left. Maaya did not risk running into J. As she was leaving, Maaya bumped into someone. Her head was held low, and she made no attempt at eye contact. "My apologies..." She looked up to see who she had bumped into and her eyes widened before breaking eye contact. "Kaii... Sorry for stopping you. I have not seen Master Kazuo today. And Lord Saionji... he... he has asked not to be disturbed. At least by me..." There was something wrong with Maaya, and anyone with any social experience would see it.

J did not catch the "M" that was coming out of Maaya's mouth as he left. He was too deep in thought about what he had just found out. He had to figure out how to deal with this the correct way.

Kaii enjoyed his time at the Saionji Manor. With the noble tensions, he used it as an excuse to come check on things whenever he could. He arrived and within moments had ran into Maaya. Well, she kind of walked into him, but he wouldn't say that out loud. "Finally, someone who actually calls me Kaii in this house, not Master or whatever..." he said and then smiled kindly at her, "You alright, Maaya? Wait... You said at least by you. Did something happen? I mean, obviously it did. You can't really deny it when that pretty face of yours looks so down. Come on. What happened?" Kaii put his hands on his hips and listened to her. If she refused, he'd insist more, "Come on. Let's sit and talk for a bit."

That was a nice touch. Kaii was always kind to her, and what he said was true. Maaya and Kazuo were probably the only two who would say his name. She shook her head. No, everything wasn't okay. "Mm, fine. But not here" Maaya let herself be led away to a small dead end of the pathway. "I... um... might... have screwed things up with J. Um..." Maaya began to fidget. "Uh... So the other night, when the Ishino attacked the Saionji... I killed my older sister because she killed my brother..."

"But... I snapped when I killed her. And I just kept stabbing... and stabbing... Captain Hayashi had to stop me... And she told me I'd have to tell J about it or she would. So I told J about it... and..." Tears began to form in her icy eyes. "And he said he didn't want me to disturb him until he spoke to me later tonight. He said what I did was shameful, and... And I'm just so worried that I might be thrown out onto the street."

Kaii immediately felt sorry for Maaya when she explained what happened. He rubbed the back of his head and glanced off. "I know Captain Saionji of the Sixth can be a bit of a hardass at times, but I doubt he's going to throw you at." he said, trying to reassure her, even if he wasn't sure himself, "I doubt my Captain would let him, for one. And for two, from what I've heard he cares quite a lot about you. He may just be disappointed and need a bit of time to think on it..." Kaii sighed and shook his head. "So you snapped? I can understand that, I think. I'm not exactly the type to snap over something, but I can kind of get where you're coming from. Do you think there's anything I can do to help? I can try to talk to... my Captain. I will not talk to yours; he scares the shit out of me."

"Still... After that night, I... I don't have anything to go back to. Technically, I don't even have a last name right now. The Ishino are gone and banished, so I can't use that name..." Maaya shook her head too. Maaya couldn't help but to smile at Kaii's truthful explanation. "J can be scary... Especially to those he dislikes. I'm not normally the type to snap either too. Just... Eisuke was the only brother I had that liked me. So I... Having one of the only people that liked you be killed trying to save you... It isn't a good sight, Kaii." Maaya smiled weakly, wiping the tears from her eyes. "Thanks for talking with me. And... if you can talk to Master Kazuo for me, that'd... be appreciated. I don't think I can safely set foot in the Saionji manor until tonight."

Kaii smiled. "I understand." he said and then quickly wrapped his arms around Maaya, picking her up, and swinging her, "Don't worry! Don't worry! A pretty little lady like yourself will always have somewhere to go." He put her down and pat her head, "I'll go talk to him. Stick around here okay? Don't go runnin' off. I have a feeling once I tell my Captain, yours will be coming after you very soon. Oh... What you should do though... When he's coming near you, make sure you have tears in your eyes. No man can handle a woman crying and it'll pull at his heart strings, I promise. Just try it." Kaii stepped passed her and began heading toward his Captain's office. He waved back toward Maaya before continuing on. As he walked, he was deep in thought, wondering how to help Maaya.

Once he arrived at Kazuo's office, he knocked and called out. "Captain! It's Kaii. Do you mind if I talk to you for a bit?" Once he got confirmation, he stepped inside and bowed like he usually did. "How are you today, Captain?" he asked. He hesitated for a moment and then spoke up after Kazuo finished. "Well, I know it's not really any of my business, but I ran into Lady Maaya outside of the Manor. She doesn't feel safe entering the Manor right now..." Kaii raised an eyebrow and let that information hang in the air for a bit, "It seems she gave Captain Saionji of the Sixth a bit of information about her snapping and continuing to stab her sister to death. He told her that her actions were shameful and that she should not disturb him. She's very upset and scared she's going to be shunned and left homeless."

Maaya nodded and smiled again. She thanked him and began walking. She had to think on her own part in this. Kazuo was not in his office in the Saionji manor. No, he was at the actual office he kept in the 2nd Division. There were some papers he kept separate from home—just in case. Most of those were on other Captains, Lieutenants, and other high-ranking officials. Kazuo was double-checking all of these papers. Every week, he applied a new dusting of fine, invisible powder. This powder was used to determine if someone had been looking at a particular file, or if one had been replaced. As he heard Kaii's voice, Kazuo put away the last of the papers and powder before aknowledging his subordinate. "Hm? Sure, come in."

"I'm fine, thanks for asking. How about yourself?" Kazuo tried to keep up friendly camadarie with his officers, and Kaii was closer to being his Lieutenant than his actual Lieutenant. Kazuo's brow furrowed as Kaii spoke. This wasn't his business. But, Kazuo was not going to be an ass about it. This was the 2nd Division after all. "Ah... I... see. Kaii, what did she tell you exactly? I have a feeling I'm going to need to have another talk with my brother..."

After getting the low-down, Kazuo sighed audibly. He rolled his eyes and placed his head in his palms. "That's... my brother all right. Thanks for telling me... Oh, by the way..." Kazuo motioned for the door to be shut. Once Kaii shut it, there was an audible click. The room was now secure. "I've heard some rumblings about someone sneaking into the 12th Division at night. I don't want you to find out who is doing it, that's the Ninth's job. I want you to find out why. Find out what they want. See what files have been recently accessed. You can use your position if need be. If the 12th gives you too much trouble, let me know. You don't have to do this personally, but inform only one other person about this. And... it can't be Lieutenant Kurisu either. She's formerly of the 12th and still under close watch. If it's something she's doing, I don't want her to know we're onto her. Think you can handle it?"

"I'm doing well. Nothing new to report. However..." Kaii went on about what Maaya had told him. He felt odd telling Kazuo about this, but he had the information and should do something with it. "Of course, Captain." Kaii smiled and proudly accepted the gratitude of his Captain. "Hm?" Kaii closed the door as instructed. He then listened to what Kazuo was asking of him and was a little surprised. He took a moment to think whether he had heard anything recently, but he hadn't. He nodded. "Yes. I will start on this immediately. If I run into the intruder while they're in the act, should I confront them or leave them be? Confronting them may be dangerous, but it may be better if doing so will prevent them from collecting any important information. I could also just call for back-up in the process, but that could alert them to my presence as well. What do you think Captain?" Once Kaii got his answers, he stepped out of Kazuo's office and said his farewell, but... "It is none of my business and I will keep it to myself, but please help Lady Maaya. She's very upset and scared to death." And with that, Kaii left.

Kazuo thought for a moment, then shook his head. "As I said, the intruder is the Ninth's business. Not ours. We'll handle their detention, not their arrest. If confrontation becomes unavoidable, don't be flashy. Bind them, alert someone, then flee. I don't want the Second to be involved in the investigation. It'll limit our movements too much. I want to know what this person wants at the Twelfth. If they're doing something illegal, we're the only people that can reliably find it. That and Red Division, but I don't see them acting on this. Remember, we're the only division that can act outside of proper channels." Kazuo smiled and let that hang. "I'll be sure to talk to J about that. Thanks for bringing to my attention." Kazuo stood, sighing again.

"J—!" Kazuo drew out his brother's name as he entered his office. Kazuo looked annoyed. Before J could say anything, Kazuo closed the door and locked it. "So, I heard you and Maaya had a lover's spat. Now you tell me exactly what you said. Why? Because you've apparently scared Maaya so bad that she's thinking you might kick her out. So explain to me what went down, and I can hopefully figure what went wrong and how to fix it." Kazuo took a seat across from his brother, arms crossed.

J was back at his paperwork in the silence and peace of his office. When he heard his brothers voice, he could feel the annoyance leaking out. J looked up to his brother and immediately stood. He leaned to the side and watched Kazuo lock the door. J raised an eyebrow and reached for his Zanpakutō, pulling it out and pointing it at Kazuo. "If you're here to challenge me for the Head of the Family, I have expected this day to come. I accept your challenge little brother and will not go easy on you." J said and funnily enough, he was joking. This was how J joked: badly. He kept his straight face, waited a moment, and then sheathed his Zanpakutō. "So what's the problem?" he said and sat back down.

J was stuck. Did Maaya go and tell on him or something? J sighed and thought for a moment. "She explained to me how she snapped and stabbed her sister repeatedly until Captain Hayashi had to stop her. What more is there to tell? I am not going to kick Maaya out over that. Why would that scare her? Don't you think I would be a bit of a hypocrite when I reacted the way I did after that disgusting excuse for a man attempted to violate her in my own home?" J raised an eyebrow, placing his elbows on the desk with his fingers entangled as his chin rested on them. Kazuo would know that there were a few things that J would not be and a hypocrite is close to the top of that list. So why was he mad?

"Not today." Kazuo did not draw his Zanpakutō. Any other day, he might have played along. But not today. Thankfully, Maaya was not the one that told on J. Kazuo narrowed his eyes at his brother. "No, I get that. But J, you have to realize this." Kazuo spread his arms out wide. "If you went off and did something bad and got exiled from the house... You have friends that could help you. And even without that, you're skilled enough to make a living on your own. Maaya? She's only capable of defending herself because of you. And that's about all she's got going for her. She has two married and pregnant sisters who are wed to minor noble houses and us. She's made a couple of friends outside of the Saionji and the 6th Division—Midori and Kaii namely. But think about it... you take away the Saionji, and she's got a couple of friends who might help her."

"Midori definitely would, but Maaya might not think so. Kaii... might, but he might also feel it to be inappropriate because he's my third seat. And then there's her sisters. There's a good chance those families wouldn't want anything to do with her. The Ishino did one bit of lasting damage, and that's screwing with Maaya's suvivability outside of the house. So whatever you said has her scared. And right now, she's thinking the worst is going to happen. To her, that means losing you, J. She thinks the world of you, and right now... her entire future depends on you and your decisions." Kazuo gave his brother a sad smile of "I can't help her, it's up to you." "So tell me, what did you say to her? Because it obviously upset her enough to think that she's on your shitlist."

J Saonji narrowed his eyes an annoyance at his brother. "I told her that her actions were shameful and they were, but my words had nothing to do with her becoming enraged and losing control. That is a feeling that we all understand, especially after a situation she was in." J stood up and placed his hands on the desk in front of him, leaning over and glaring more angrily at his brother. "I have said nothing about kicking her from the Saionji Manor, nor have I even implied. I merely asked not to be disturbed. I am angry with Maaya, not because of her rampage, but because she waited this long to tell me. Kazuo, I will not be lied to in my own home. She should have told me immediately."

"Also... I have no doubt she asked Captain Hayashi, and possibly others, to keep the situation from me, which only angers me more. I have every right to know what is going on under my own roof and Maaya kept something very important from me. Not only that, but when she finally comes clean about what she had done, she uses her cooking ability and knowledge of my preferred meals to coax me into reacting in a favorable manner to her. Understandable or not, she has betrayed my trust because of this and I am not yet ready to forgive her. This was too serious of a situation for that. You and Maaya are the two people in my life that I am supposed to be able to trust completely and on that she has proven me wrong. I do not take kindly to being betrayed and you know it. However, I have no intention of abandoning the woman I love over a single l-..." J just realized what he had admitted then and looked away from Kazuo, "Still... She's lied to me and I am not happy about it. I can't and won't be."

Kazuo furrowed his brow and sighed. He did have a slight smile at the l-word coming out. He then stood up and patted J on the shoulder before sitting back down. "J, I get where you're coming from. She did not tell me of this... From what I remember, the only person around when that happened was Midori. Would you rather have had Midori tell you, or Maaya?" After getting the answer, Kazuo nodded and continued. "Right. And tell me, even you were shaken up for a few days after that, right?" Although his brother tried to deny it, he admitted it was true. "Right. So if you, the man that can keep a straight face through the best plays the Ninth can offer, were shaken up and busy after that... Imagine what she was going through."

"Maaya is not as strong as you. She had to bury her mother, father, two brothers, a sister, and the rest of her family is basically exiled. She saw her own brother be stabbed right in front of her. She killed her own sister. That would be like Yurina killing Ryuusei and you killing Yurina. You wouldn't have a good mental state after that. It's been a week and a half. It's probably too long, I agree. She should have told you sooner. But Maaya has always been a timid, scared young woman. And J, you're a damn scary man. She probably cooked that food mainly to keep you from snapping at her. If she wants to get on your good side, can you blame her?"

"I'm not asking you to be happy with her either, J. I'm just saying... you two need to talk, and you need to tell her exactly how you feel. And J, one last thing... Maaya may have done this to protect the Saionji. If the investigation had revealed that she had the capability to be unstable like that... Imagine the rumors going around. They'd be saying we were harboring a psychopath. I don't know if she was doing it for that, but... it's something to keep in mind. And don't forgive her until you ARE ready to forgive her. But make it clear you want to forgive her."

J listened in silence to his brother. Kazuo was the one person he'd take the advice from and even allow to scold him. The only other person that had that ability was the midget he called his leader, but even then he wouldn't take her advice. "And J, you're a damn scary man." J gave a short chuckle at that. He looked off toward the wall, thinking on what his brother was saying. Once Kazuo was done, he just nodded, unable to say anything more here. The person he needed to talk to was Maaya. "Alright." he nodded and stood up again, "Alright." He rubbed the back of his head and walked out of his office, leaving Kazuo there while he thought about what he was going to say when he found Maaya. When he came up with something that sounded nicer, at least in his head, he pinpointed her location.

J made his way out of the Manor and then shunpo'd toward Maaya. He landed behind her as she was beginning to walk back in through the main gate to the manor. Her head was hung low, which made him feel a little guilty, but he was able to push that off. He stepped up behind her and wrapped an arm around her and leaned over to look down at her as he used his free hand to lift her chin so she was looking at him. "Maaya..." he stopped when he looked into her eyes. He could see how upset she was and gently turned her to face him. He ran his finger along side her face, leaned down, and kissed her cheek. "Listen. I am a man of my word. You will always have a home here. The only way for that to change is if you betrayed the Saionji in an unforgivable way. I am not going to throw you out."

He let that sink in for a moment and then stood straight, staring down at her. His expression had been softer up until then, but he went more serious now. "I need you to understand something. I am not angry because you were enraged enough to do what you did. That emotion is understandable. I can relate. Do you not remember how I reacted the night you were almost... assaulted under my own roof?" he tried using the nicer word since 'violated' felt harsh to say right now. He got his answer and then nodded. "Exactly. I would not punish you for doing the same thing I did. However, Maaya..." he narrowed his eyes, "I do not like that you withheld this information from me. You should have told me this sooner. I understand why you did not; you have been through hell. I merely felt betrayed when you came clean. Do not bribe me with food again. I want honesty and loyalty from you."

Maaya let out a yelp and reached for her Zanpakutō... Shinnotte was halfway out of its sheath before she realized it was J. Only he would be so brazen as to actually do that. She averted her eyes as she sheathed her sword. She drew her lips into a tight line. Maaya listened to what he said. It re-assured her, but she was still shattered from their midday conversation. Maaya turned around to see him better. It was better on her neck too. She still let him hold her close, but she was damn sure going to face him. She nodded in response to his question.

The more he spoke, Maaya understood his anger. She... Yep, she had screwed up. "My Lord... I..." Maaya shook her head. "I didn't mean to make you feel like I betrayed you. While... I admit I used an underhanded tactic like that, I read in a book that if a wife wants something, sometimes warming the husband up beforehand works best. I... I only wanted you not to be angry if you were to make me leave. You're not as handsome when you're angry. And... if you want honesty, you scare me when you're angry. I wanted to be able to leave and say that you had never been angry at me."

"But as I had said before, I hadn't meant for it to feel like that for you. I... I care for you deeply. I was nervous of your response because I didn't want to lose you. But I thought about it when I asked for the day for just us. I wanted to tell you in private because I was embarrassed of my actions. And... I knew I should tell you. You, of all people, deserve to know that if something happens to the people I love..." Maaya swallowed and her eyes went hard with determination. "I will destroy whoever hurt them. Especially you, J. And if someone wants to call me crazy or unstable because I want revenge, then so be it!"

"You will have my honesty from here on out, My Lord. If I have a problem, I will tell you as soon as I can. So..." Maaya actually raised a finger like a housewife. She pouted slightly. "I am offended you'd think that I'd be disloyal to you. You have had my loyalty and my heart since the night you saved me. So, I think it's kind-of unfair that you'd think I'd be disloyal after all we've been through together."

J was easily able to accept her words and her apology. It made him feel better when he heard the words as well. He raised an eyebrow at her claiming revenge if anyone she lov-.. Loved? Did she just let something slip that he had let slip to Kazuo a few minutes ago? He wanted to ask her about that, but when the finger came up, he went cross-eyed to look at it and then looked passed it to her. He was a little shocked. That's not what he meant! "I didn't mean it like that." he quickly corrected, but in a way he hadn't spoken before. He said it like he was worried about her thinking that. J had an issue when it came to loyalty and honesty, so to accuse her of something like that would bother him. To J, that was a mistake that needed to be corrected. "Those are two things I value and want from you."

J sighed and then shook his head. "Maaya..." he motioned for her to follow. Once she did, he wrapped an arm around her waist and held her close while they walked along through the gardens. "A moment ago, you said you would seek revenge if those you love were harmed and specified myself. I do not know if it was merely a slip of the tongue, but I feel the need to ask what that meant." he asked, keeping his gaze forward, though he did look around the garden every now and then. "The implication is that you've come to love me." he said and then looked back to her, "Is this what you meant to say?"

Maaya liked the confused look J had. It was one of those cute things only she'd get to see. "Good, I'd hope not." Maaya still had her bit of a pout on. She'd milk it for now. It'd just have to be something J got used to. Maaya followed J closely. She wrapped an arm around him too and smiled. Kazuo saw them from a window and gave his brother a thumbs-up. To Kazuo, this just meant they had gotten through their problems. Maaya knew better than that, but she didn't care. She wasn't even paying attention to where she was walking. She trusted J that much.

J's question caught her off-guard. She looked to the side, then she stopped. Maaya took a few quick steps and stopped in front of him. She was blushing, and that same determined look sparked in her eyes. "I... I think it should be obvious. Yes, I did mean that. While it was a slip of the tongue... It's one of those slips of the things that's on the back of your mind. I've wanted to tell you this, but... with the Ishino revolt, the Hollow attacks that have had me wounded... I just haven't had a chance to tell you. Nor have I had a chance to really sort out my feelings properly. But being put on the spot... It all clicked into place." Maaya literally hopped up and planted a kiss where she could reach—on his chin. "J Saionji, I love you."

J noticed Kazuo out of the corner of his eye and shot a brotherly glare at the man. J watched Maaya closely and was surprised by her behavior. He stopped walking when she ran in front of him. He had put her on the spot and wasn't able to tell whether she was okay with that or not. She went on, beating around the bush for a short bit instead of answering his question. He was equally surprised by the jump-kiss on his chin, but holy shit was that absolutely adorable. He couldn't express how cute he thought she was in that moment. However, the moment she confessed her love for him, J felt his heart flutter a bit. His eyes widened and he stared directly at her. "Maaya..." J hesitated out of his own surprise, but with a moment of thought, J smiled. He smiled a soft and genuine smile.

J leaned down and placed a kiss on her forehead, but at the same time placed his hand under her chin. Once he finished kissing her forehead, he lifted her chin up and whispered a kind and sincere question. "May I truly kiss you, Lady Maaya?" But it didn't take long for her to smile and simply say "Of course." J smiled a bit more and leaned in. His eyes closed as he pressed his lips gently against her soft ones. He held the kiss for a few moments, pulling her into him before he went for a gentle dance with her tongue. The few moments seemed like hours to him, but when he felt right and satisfied in a way only she could provide for him, J finally pulled away, breaking the first passionate kiss the two of them ever shared. "I love you too, Maaya." he said, kissing her lips once more before holding her close.
