Personality: Sena is the type of girl you look at and you know she's not on a sugar rush, but you just can't help but ask if she is. She borders the line between active and hyperactive, crossing into the latter more than many would like. But she isn't the type to start scribbling on a desk, giggling, or do things that hyper children do. No, she just gets... active. Sena is one of the most active students in Hephaestus. She isn't in a lot of clubs (though many wish she were a member), she is the type to devote 110% to each club she is a part of. This year, she's a member of the track and field club and an unofficial biking club. The latter doesn't have events, she just enjoys biking. Despite her small frame, she is surprisingly fast and can keep up with girls that have a natural leg up on her (pun intended). The fact she was able to beat a 5'11 girl in the 100-meter hurdles made her very happy last year.

Sena is one to enjoy going out in a crowd but not participating in the crowd. She just likes being around people. It's not uncommon for her to find a bench, sit down, and people watch for hours on end. It's because when she is completely alone, Sena gets terrified. It's why she tries hard to make friends, usually out of people much larger and scarier than she is. She knows she can run away from danger, but if she's caught, she has no hopes of escaping. She's small and the most she could do would be land a mean kick in someone's groin. So she looks for people she thinks can fight. She watches the martial arts clubs and the people that are in the occasional off-regulation fight to figure out who she wants to try to befriend.

She doesn't find those types of people because she wants to just have a bodyguard either. In the past two years, she had befriended two very, very tough people. She was a bit annoying at first, but they got over that. When they both left the school, they told her that she was the best thing that could have happened to them. One of them said 'people like us don't usually make a true friend.' So, she wants to try to be friends with the tough people that usually are avoided. She knows what it's like to be lonely. Sena doesn't want others to be lonely either.

Character Background: Sena never had only one chance to run away as a child, and she didn't take it. She doesn't regret not taking it. She knows that if she did, she probably would have died out on the street. Sena's mother was an abusive drunk. She had lost her dream job because of corporate politics and hadn't been able to land anything since. Sena's father worked two jobs to support the family. Her mother would constantly complain about their living conditions while not doing anything herself. When she drank, she'd slap her husband around. He didn't have the guts to do anything, as she called the cops on him the one time he fought back. He loved her, and he didn't want to force Sena through a divorce, although he should have.

When Sena's mother would get too out of control, Sena's father told her to go hide. That worked for a while, but Sena got bored with it. When she was finally old enough to walk around on her own at night, Sena began to sneak out of her bedroom window. She ran her block a few times, then would climb back up and sleep. Running was her calming space. The first time she did it, she could have run away. She could have forgotten about everything going on at home and just kept running, but she didn't.

Sena's mother committed suicide when the young girl was thirteen. Both of them were sad, but not as sad as they could have been. By this time, Sena had cut her hair short so her mother couldn't grab onto her as easily. When Sena's powers awoke, her father was absolutely terrified. After a counselor for Hephaestus approached them, he agreed to send her there. When Sena tried to return home after a summer there, her father had moved. When she tried to find her father, she learned she was struck from the family registry, meaning that she had no family. Her father had run away from her. She dealt with her problems like she always did. She ran. Sena ran the entire length of her city twice one day. She returned to Hephaestus that night, determined to shake off the loneliness she had of not having anyone who cared for her.


Trained Skills: Sena is one of Hephaestus's star athletes. She is the best member in the track and field club without a doubt. She is known by a rather fitting nickname of Strawberry Comet. She got the nickname from a 200-meter dash when her twintails were called 'the trails of a pink comet' by a commentator as she thouroughly beat the competition. Besides this, Sena is a decent swimmer and biker. Most of that comes from her lower body strength though. If she chose, she could also be a gymnast, but she's not one for solo events.


Spiritual Power: Though most people think it does, Sena's power has nothing to do with her running speed. It does help her before and after a race, but it doesn't help her during. Sena has an innate control of her own body. Sena has called herself a 'puppet on her own strings.' She can heal her own wounds (to a degree) by focusing on her body's natural healing in that area. If she is paralyzed, she can force her body to move. This is very similar to a Quincy's Ransotengai when used in that manner. Sena can also slow her heartbeat or speed it up. If she wants to stop blood flow to or from one part of her body, she can do that too. This is mainly used to keep her cool after a race and to prevent muscle spasms. She can not make a disease disappear, nor can she do the same to a poison. She also can not regrow anything that does not natural regrow. This ability gives her a natural +30 to durability and endurance.
