Personality: If there is one man you want as your chemistry partner, it's most certainly not Nobuharu. Make a simple compound the professor asks? Too easy. Nobuharu creates a version of it three times as potent. In half the time it took to make the original. He is a brilliant man, but he takes far too many risks with science for him to be truly called "smart." It's like this. Nobuharu has the book smarts of ten people. He has the common sense of a squirrel. It explains why his lab is currently away from the main building of the 12th Division and why they created an all-new blast-resistant alloy to coat it with. He's the epitome of the phrase "It's not rocket surgery!"

Beyond his smarts and lack thereof, Nobuharu is, perhaps, a kind man. He is the type to hug the person nearest to him when something goes right. And no, it's not a little sweet hug. Nobuharu picks the person up (if he can) and swings them around. He gets really excited about stupid things, and he has even walked out on two dates before. Not because of anything the women did wrong, no. Nobuharu simply came up with another idea that needed to be tested right then and there. He tried to make up for it, but they declined further offers of endearment.

Nobuharu is the type to devote himself to one woman. Unfortunately, Nobuharu has some strict criteria. One, the woman can not be taller than him. Two, the woman can not be shorter than 5'0. Three, the woman can not be an idiot. Four, the woman can not be smarter than him. Five, the woman must have good fashion. Six, the woman must not spend more money on clothes every month than she does on necessities like food. You get the idea.

Nobuharu is addicted to pop culture. He has found a way to stream anime into the Soul Society. You probably won't find him on friday nights because he's watching a new anime. He is most into super robots and tokusatsu shows like Kamen Rider. He uses quotes from random shows to release his Zanpakutō spirit, as he actually doesn't know its proper release phrase.

Character Background: Nobuharu was born in the Soul Society to a family of fish merchants. No one really knows where they caught their fish, but they sold fresh fish. He never learned his father's secret spot of catching fish before he died of, ironically, a shellfish allergy. Nobuharu then dedicated his life (at that time) to eradicating shellfish allergies. So Nobuharu studied, experimented, and theorized for about ten years. However, he had no way of getting the equipment he needed. So he snuck into the 12th Division. And late at night when most people weren't in the far labs, Nobuharu worked.

Nobuharu continued to sneak in practically daily. Security guards had the strangest finds, and to this day no one knows who left a banana in the microwave. Even Nobuharu. He beat the Human Genome Project in sequencing the human genome by about thirty years, but that wasn't the main concern for him. He eventually needed access to restricted materials. So Nobuharu forged some documents and got himself "into" the 12th Division proper. He made friends with everyone, and he claimed he was part of the "night classes" at the academy. He said it was much harder and more crammed, so he didn't recommend even looking into it.

Over time, Nobuharu did eventually learn he had spiritual power. He stole an asauchi from a new entrant to the academy and walked around pretending he had a functional Zanpakutō. Over time, people became more suspicious of him as he was never quite able to use Kidō right. So Nobuharu once again forged documents, and he went back and took "remedial" classes. It worked, and Nobuharu was eventually qualified to be an actual Shinigami. By this time, he was already friends with most people in his division—well "friends" is more appropriate. See, people liked Nobuharu as a person. He was kinda cool to hang out with and he liked to pay for people's drinks. But when it came to science and work? No one wanted to be near him.

Eventually, Nobuharu needed someone to talk to. So he manifested in Zanpakutō spirit. It surprisingly wasn't that hard for him, and he talked to him a lot. And I mean a lot. Probably more than what was healthy. And his Zanpakutō spirit kept telling him to make it better. And so Nobuharu did. He kept improving on existing designs, kept working on new technology, and he eventually forgot about curing shellfish allergies. Only about a month ago, Nobuharu was able to access his Bankai. It's still new to him, but he thinks it's badass.

Zanpakutō Spirit Appearance:
Zanpakutō Spirit's World: Nobuharu's Zanpakutō's world is a laboratory. However, it is completely devoid of working equipment. All it has are empty cylinders, test tubes, etc. There are a lot of swivel chairs though, and Nobuharu has ridden on all of them.
Zanpakutō: What's a pimp without his cane? No, just kidding. About the pimp part.  

Zanpakutō Release Phrase: Unknown. Nobuharu just releases it with random quotes from anime and tokusatsu. He once released it by screaming "GODZILLA!"


Shikai Name: Eikō no Shinka (栄光の進化; lit. Glorious Evolution)
Shikai Appearance: No change
Shikai Abilities: Simply put, Eikō no Shinka is an enhancement Shikai. Nobuharu gains a +20 to all racial skills and a +10 to all natural skills. But that's not all. Nobuharu's thinking speed, typing speed, writing speed, balance, senses (all five), and cooking skill all double. He also becomes ambidextrious while his Shikai is active.


Bankai Name: Shinka to Kenka no Mon (進化と変化の門; lit. Gate of Evolution and Change)
Bankai Appearance: Nobuharu does not lose his sword in his Bankai. Instead, he summons something known as Ryūjin Enka. Right now, it is the size of a human. However, Nobuharu thinks it can get larger. This thing is an independent entity that has basic programming. It follows orders but does not really think on its own. If it's told to fight, it'll fight well. But that's all it'll do until it's told to stop. Onto things that Nobuharu doesn't know about. Shink to Kenka no Mon actually does get larger. Although Nobuharu only has Form One unlocked, there are five Forms to his Bankai.

Bankai Abilities:
Form One, Ryūjin Enka Dai Ichi-go (竜神演歌第一後; Dragon Ballad One): In Form One, Ryūjin Enka is about 6'0. It looks like someone in power armor, although the insides are all electronics. It operates at Nobuharu's skills +10. It also has a once-per-release move known as Hyper Punch. It's a Kidō-charged punch that is rather powerful. It can crack, but not break through, a Bakudō 81.

Form Two, Ryūjin Enka Dai Ni-go (竜神演歌第二後; Dragon Ballad Two): In Form Two, Ryūjin Enka is 9'0. It stands above most people. It operates at Nobuharu's skills +15. It does not have Hyper Bunch, but this form does have a large cleaver-like sword on its back. Its once-per-released finishing move is Earthbreaker, where it slams the sword into the ground, releasing reiryoku in a wave. It is similar to a certain anime's protanist's spiritual sword's technique... It looks like early Getsuga Tenshos

Form Three, Ryūjin Enka Dai San-go (竜神演歌第三後; Dragon Ballad Three): In Form Three, Ryūjin Enka is 18'0. It towers over people. In this form, it is capable of using the Kidō that Nobuharu knows. It operates at all of his skills +20, but he does not learn any Kidō. Its finishing move is a reiryoku beam fired from its forehead, equivalent in power to a Gran Rey Cero, called Particle Disruptor.

Form Four, Ryūjin Enka Dai Shi-go (竜神演歌第一後; Dragon Ballad Four): In Form Four, Ryūjin Enka is a massive 36'0. It is beginning to show more of its predecessor's designs in Form Four. It operates at Nobuharu's skills +25. It has a Kidō-firing rifle and a sword as tall as it is. Its finishing move is Lohengrin Barrage. Lohengrin Barrage fires  thirty high-speed beams at any target(s) within 100 yards. These move at a speed comparable to a bala, and they can bend multiple times, making dodging them head-on a challenge.

Form Five, Ryūjin Enka Saishū Keitai (竜神演歌最終形態; Dragon Ballad Final Form): In the Final Form of Ryūjin Enka, it towers over everything around it at a whopping 72'0. It has a 160-foot wingspan. It operates at Nobuharu's skills +40, save for speed and agility. In this mode, Ryūjin Enka operates at Nobuharu's base agility and speed. It is not very fast. Instead, it makes up for this by being able to fire multiple Kidō blasts from its fingertips and chest openings. It has access to the other forms' finishing moves as once-per-post abilities. Its finishing move is Hellmoth Resonance. Hellmoth Resonance is a small gravity well in the shape of a ball that it throws in an area. Objects up to ten tons are drawn to it. After seven seconds, it reverses the gravity, shoving things in multiple directions.
